Why can't you make a iOS app?

The thing is they can't force ads on an app as easily as it is in browser.
If I were TA & decided to do an app, I’d restrict it to pro members. In other words, it wouldn’t have ads.

I used to be one of the petitioners for an app. But that was before there was a mobile version of the site. I’m quite happy with the outcome. However, personal preferences vary. Some people like a lot of apps. I like to keep my phone uncluttered & avoid apps that are just a replication of a website.

The mobile site is perfectly fine. It would cost to make and maintain. I bet most people would expect it to be free. I doubt having an app would generate many new customers. Would be a bad investment for TA.

The mobile site is buggy. I'm on android and it does what it needs to do on a good day, but most days it's full of bugs and annoying to use, so lately i've been avoiding TA pretty much and started using an other site and app. If the investment is the only thing that makes for the decision to keep it on a browser, i think there's plenty of solutions to pay for the investment 🤷‍♂️ because i'm 200% sure most people would rather use an app than a browser and most people would surely be down to donate 5 bucks to support the making of both an ios and android app.

The majority of smart phone users do not like using a browser if they can avoid it.
Besides the fact that an app would be fantastic from a customer perspective, it would most likely also lead to a much higher userbase on TA, increasing profits for the company.
My friends that don't currently use TA would be much more likely to use it if there were an app.

Good for TA, good for customers. Seems like a smart decision.

Although the Xbox TA app is helpful, I do agree that TA needs an iOS app.
