Red Dead Redemption remaster hopes reignited following new rating

A new rating for Red Dead Redemption has been spotted on The Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea's website, sparking hopes of a remaster or remake.

Fans believe that a possible Red Dead Redemption remaster or modern rerelease of Rockstar's classic western game could be on the way as a new rating for Red Dead Redemption has been published by Korea's rating board.

Spotted by the fine folk over at Gematsu, the new Red Dead Redemption rating was published by The Game Rating and Administration Committee of Korea on June 15 under the classification number CC-NV-230615-001. Gematsu notes that the 'NV' in the classification number refers to console games and that ratings for the original versions of Red Dead Redemption, Red Dead Redemption Game of the Year Edition, and the Undead Nightmare Collection already existed in the country prior to this new rating.

At the moment, it's unclear what this rating could be. There have been rumors floating around for a while now about a possible remaster of Red Dead Redemption, but nothing concrete has been announced.
