Crash Team Rumble gets June release date on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One

Activision and Toys for Bob have announced that 4v4 multiplayer game Crash Team Rumble will release in June for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One and will be priced at $29.99.

We don't have too long to wait until another Crash game is in our hands as Crash Team Rumble launches on June 20th for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4. Activision and Toys for Bob have also confirmed that a beta will take place for the MOBA next month for those that preorder the game.

Crash Team Rumble release date and gameplay revealed

Crash Team Rumble was announced back in December, and if you missed it, Activision describes it as a "four-versus-four, team-based online multiplayer game" where you can play as Crash, Dingodile and other characters from the Crash universe who have "their own distinct power, personality, and playstyle, as they compete across wild and varied arenas." To win, players will need to "slide, smash, bump, and bash as a team to be the first to bank the most Wumpa fruit in their drop-off zone, while simultaneously defending the opponent team’s drop zone."

Pre-orders for Crash Team Rumble begin today (March 21st), with the standard version of the game priced at $29.99 and the Deluxe version at $39.99. The standard edition includes closed beta access (if you preorder), and a premium battle pass for Season 1, whereas the Deluxe edition will include closed beta access (again if you preorder), battles passes for Season 1 and Season 2, a 25-tier instant unlock for Season 1, and the digital Proto Pack, which includes some skins.

The closed beta runs from April 20th to April 24th and will feature five heroes — Crash, Coco, Dingodile, Dr Neo Cortex, and Tawna — and three maps.
